These seasonal socks are named for the Scottish New Year tradition of first-footing, which is known in Gaelic as Ceilidh Oidhche Challain (which translates as "a visit on Hogmanay night")

The socks are knitted cuff-down, and the pattern comes in two sizes, Small and Medium, to fit adult foot with an 8 in or 9 in circumference.

Kit contains 100g of Jamieson and Smith Shetland Heritage yarn (in your choice of colourway, indigo (blue) or madder (red); project bag, and pattern.
